Vacancies

The orchestra welcomes new members of a suitable standard, and as a guide to the standard, some of the current pieces are Haydn and Beethoven symphonies, Don Giovanni. (For a full list please see current and past concert sections.)

We try to accommodate all requests to join, however some sections may be over subscribed. If this is the case then we would encourage you to come to a few rehearsals to get a feel of what the orchestra is about, and maybe go on our reserve list. You would of course then be notified if a vacancy becomes available.

The orchestra committee regularly meets to discuss proposed new members and you would be informed at the earliest opportunity if a vacancy is available.
